My assignment for writers workshop has come to an end. I have to admit that I wasn't vey excited about this project. I went back and forth trying to decide on the perfect topic. When I first statred I was still not convinced that I picked the right topic. In the end I knew I made a good decision. I never thought that I would have this much fun with a blog. I felt like I could be myself and people could get to know the real me. I also got to know myself a little more. I never realized how much television I watched until I started this blog. I also found out that I enjoy watching fights on reality t.v. I used to think that was wierd until I found out everyone loves watching someone get beat up. What a great world we live in??
During the process of this blog I hope I got people interested in the shows I love the most.( I think I might of scared some people away with all the drama that happens on these shows.) All though I love watching these shows I don't intend on being like any of these people. I must say that I admire how they can act crazy and fight and make a $100,000 an episode. That part I wouldn't mind.
Even though the class assignment has come to an end I haven't quite decided if I will continue this blog. It was a really fun process and a great experience for me. I also feel like this assignment bought me closer to some of my classmates. I'm seeing different sides of people that I never thought I would see. Going back to the question of my continuing to blog, I guess you will have to wait and see.

Bad Girls Club New Orleans
Do I really need to say more?? I mean the title speaks fot its self. If you claim to be a "bad girl" now a days you have to prove it. It's more than just talk. If you want to be someone, you got to show everyone. For this show actions speak louder than words. You can either love it or hate it, but either way you just can't stop watching.
There are seven of the wildest women living in one house all claiming that they are bad girls. Some girls hit it off right away while others shared a instant dislike at first sight. The house was divided. You were one side of house and if you talked to the people on the other side you were considered fake.
When Judi first got to the house everyone thought she was insane. She walked around talking to a vudu doll. The main mission of the show was for the girls to get rid of the girls that they considered to be weak. First on Judi's list was Pricsilla. All of the girls had went out to the club except for Pricsilla. She stayed home and slept. Judi thought now was the time to start eliminating the weak. She threw a hot pot of food on Pricsilla while she was sleeping. She called it "serving her breakfast." Pricsilla woke up enraged and they started to fight. In this show you get kicked off for fighting your roommates. Judi was successful getting Priscilla out of the house.
Another big fight was between Shelly and Nastasia. They never really liked each other from the begining. Shelly thought it would be a good idea if she put bleach in Nastasia's contact lenses. Angelic told Shelly that someone could go blind if she did that so she washed the contacts out with water. They agreed to keep that a secret. One drunken night Angelic told Tiara, a close friend of Nastasia about the contact incident. Tiara told Nastasia and she was ready to kill Shelly. She played it cool for a while then she struck. She ran up on Shelly and started to punch her in the face. It was broken up but Nastasia got away and fought more. She was sent home, but to me it was complety worth it.
Those were only a few of the great fights that happened on this season. I was sad for this to end, but I know there will be another season even better than this one. I wouldn't recommend that children watch this show but it's quite interesting for the older crowd. It's not something I want to do when I grow up but it makes for great entertainment.

The Real World San Diego
My favorite show currently is The Real World San Diego. It has been a t.v series that I have watched for many years now. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about this season because there had previously already been a Real World in San Diego . I thought it would be a repeat of the last one but I was wrong.
The show is about 7 stangers moving into a house together for 3 months. This show is different from others because the guest have to have and maintain a job throughout the 3 months. If they can't keep the job they can no longer live in the luxury home. Each season is a different but very unique job. This season they are working with The House of Blues. When casting, they always try to pick people that are different from each other. You have the people that are loud and crazy and then you have the peolpe that ususally never talk. Of course there is the typical "hot guys and girls" that everyone is in love with.
This week's episode was hilarous to me. Roomates Zach, Nate, Ashley and Frank hid another roommates, Priscilla's boyfriends motorcycle.( I hope I ddin't lose you with that one.) They put it in a neighbors drive way and covered it up. Little did they know that Priscilla's boyfriend Dylan had filed a police report for his "stolen" motorcycle. They were so shocked that Dylan filed a police report they didn't know what to do. They laughed but at the same time they were a little scared that they would get in trouble for grand theft auto. They continued to play along and the neighbor did the same. They told Dylan that the neighbor sold his bike and that is when they revealed that he was getting punk. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. My mom yelled at me for being loud because she was trying to sleep but it was totally worth it.
Im a little bumbed out that a new episdoe won't come on for two whole weeks. Im not sure how im going to spend my next Wednsday. I think I might actually do homework that day. This season of The Real World was way better than I thought it would be. My lesson is to never under estimate the capability of a great t.v show.

"Oh yeah Jersey Shore yeah"
One of my favorite t.v shows of the year would have to go to "Jersey Shore." What is there not to like about.You have hot guys that GTL (gym, tan, laundry for all my viewers who aren't aware.) Even if your're not a fan of the show you must admit that it pertains for some great entertainment. If your not aware of the show you must have been living under a rock. For those who don't know I'll be glad to give you the 411 on the show. Its about a group of eight Italian people that live in the Jersey area. They came together to live in one house in Sea Side Heights. With that comes so much drama.
Some of well known roommates would have to be Mike "The Situation" and Nicole "Snookie." In the forth season which took place in Italy, there were many rumors going around about the two of them. Mike made allegations that Nicole absolutly denied. That caused a lot of tension in the house.
The most memorable event of Jersey Shore was when Mike and Ronnie got into a "fight." Im not sure we can even call it a fight. In the begining of the season MTV got everyone pumped up by showing a preview of Mike being carried out of the house on a strecher. Everyone assumed that Ronnie had knocked Mike out, but little did we know that Mike ran his own head into a concrete wall knocking himself out. What way to kill my excitment. Mike turned out to be okay but had to wear a neck brace for a few days to help his sprained neck. The house mates got a lot of laughs out of that.
Another big topic was the hookups. Ronnie and Sammie were on and off throughout the whole series. There were one or two hookups with Vinny and Snookie through most of the seasons. Deana tried her best to hookup with Pauly D. (He is one of the sexiest men alive.)She tried really hard but seemed to fail everytime.
In the end all the roommates would agree that they love each other and that they will be family forever. They think that if they can survive through four seasons of Jersey Shore they can make through anything. Most people would agree with that statement.

Intoduction
For writers workshop we were told to make a blog. The theme of the blog is to combine my love of writing with something else I love. It took me a while to think of the perfect subject to blog about. I was undecided till about an hour ago. I wanted to do something different than what I would usually do. I wanted to step away from the "usual me."
For my blog I came to a conclusion that I love t.v the most. I realized that I spend most of my time at home on the couch watching televison. If I miss any show i make sure that I record it. My mom says that's pointless because the show is going to come on a million times. She is correct but I just feel better if I record it. I noticed that I blow off homework a lot just to watch t.v. But i can always catch up with homework. Right??
